Kate Middleton Jokes That She Feels Like a "Constant Feeding Machine" for George, Charlotte and Louis

From Town & Country

The Cambridge kids have been keeping Kate Middleton busy during lockdown—particularly when it comes to mealtime.

"My children have bottomless pits," the Duchess of Cambridge joked during an appearance on BBC Breakfast on Tuesday. "I feel like a constant feeding machine."

Kate was on the program in support of the BBC's new online education initiative for young families called Tiny Happy People, which promotes resources specifically tailored to parents of children under the age of five.

“In the first few months there’s a huge amount of support from midwives and health visitors and things. But from then onwards there’s a massive gap before they then start school,” Kate said, sharing that she wishes she'd had this sort of information "as a first-time mum."

During the show, Kate also opened up specifically about how her youngest son, Prince Louis, has been struggling with social distancing.

"I was just saying, Louis doesn't understand social distancing," the Duchess said. "So he goes out wanting to cuddle everything, particularly any babies younger than him."

This isn't the first time Kate has spoken about how "challenging" lockdown has been with her kids at home.

"The children have got such stamina," Kate said in a previous interview with the BBC. "You pitch a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake. You get to the end of the day—they've had a lovely time, but it's amazing how much you can cram into a day, that's for sure."
