Kate Middleton and Prince William attended a memorial service for the Grenfell Tower fire survivors on Tuesday afternoon.
The event marked the fifth anniversary of the tragedy. The fire, which destroyed the Grenfell Tower residential building in North Kensington, West London, in June 2017, has been described as one of the UK's worst modern disasters. Seventy-two people died in the blaze and more than 70 people were injured.
On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined mourners at the base of the tower for a memorial service which included prayers, readings, and choir performances. They also met with several survivors and those who lost loved ones during a private meeting earlier in the day.
During Tuesday's memorial service, Kate Middleton wore a white tea-length dress from Suzannah London. The dress, which features a double-breasted and single-breasted design and half-length sleeves, rings in at nearly $4,000 ($3,950 CAD/$2,950 USD). She styled the dress with a pair of $900 two-tone slingback pumps from Alessandra Rich (shop similar here), pearl-drop earrings and a $595 beige clutch bag from Emmy London.
While Kate Middleton's white dress is undisputedly chic, at $4,000, the ladylike style is also (unsurprisingly) out of our budgets. To shop her look for less, including picks from Saks Off Fifth and Lulus, scroll below.
