Kathryn Bernardo still can't believe she is a box office queen
18 Sep – Kathryn Bernardo recently admitted that she still cannot believe that she has starred in two of Filipino highest grossing movies of all time and is now holding the title of box-office queen.
As reported on Push, the actress, who spoke about the success of "Hello, Love, Goodbye" in pushing her other movie, "The Hows of Us" from its throne, stated that it's still difficult for her to explain in words how she feels.
"Sometimes I still can't believe this is really happening. I can't believe it happened," she said.
However, one thing is clear to Bernardo - that she is happy to have touched a lot of lives with her movies.
"I think that is important. It is our job as an actor to help people through our movies," she added.
"Hello, Love, Goodbye" became the highest grossing Filipino movie of all time by earning more than P880 million in global sales, while "The Hows of Us" - Bernardo's previous movie with her onscreen partner Daniel Padilla - made 815 million when it was released in 2018.
Both were helmed by hitmaker filmmaker Cathy Garcia-Molina.
