Kay, So Here's Why the FBI Were Spotted at Ben Affleck's House the Other Day
FBI agents were spotted outside Ben Affleck's Brentwood home a few days ago amid the devastating fires in Los Angeles, and if you've been curious about...why...we finally have an answer.
Page Six went ahead and spoke to a representative for the FBI PR office, who said “Members of the FBI‘s Ground Intercept task force are conducting activity in the area of the Palisades Fire relative to unauthorized drone activity. Agents and our local partners may be visible throughout the area, including at various residences, for this reason.”
Meanwhile a source added that “FBI agents were at Affleck’s home to see if he had CCTV footage of a private drone which damaged a super scooper, one of the firefighting aircrafts.”
FYI, Ben was evacuated from his Brentwood home due to the Palisades fire, and has been spending time at his ex-wife Jennifer Garner's house with their children. Per an insider, “Ben’s home is still under evacuation order, but he feels so grateful his property is safe for the time being. Ben knows many people who unfortunately lost their homes. He has seen a lot of devastation, and it’s beyond tragic. … Ben is reaching out to anybody he can to help.”
A source also told the outfit that Ben has been in touch with a "worried and concerned" Jennifer Lopez throughout this crisis, and that she “has been checking in on Ben throughout this whole ordeal” and “let him know she’s there for him and the kids.”
