A trio of some of Hollywood's reigning women are coming together to get out the vote.

According to Variety, actresses Kerry Washington and America Ferrera, along with musician Alicia Keys, are cohosting Every Vote Counts, a CBS special set to air on the network, as well as other streaming platforms. Scheduled for October 29, just five days ahead of the election on November 3, the TV event is being dubbed "a nonpartisan civic engagement event" that aims to encourage voter turnout for this year's election.

Keys will also perform during the show, while public figures such as Jennifer Lopez, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leonardo DiCaprio, Eva Longoria, and Chris Rock will appear throughout the evening. Shawn Mendes and country duo Dan + Shay will join Keys as musical guests for the show, with more set to be confirmed.

"The purpose for this special is to remind and inspire all Americans of the power of their voice and their vote," said Keys in a statement, per Variety. "Also, for many young people across the country, this is their first time voting, so we want to make sure they understand the magnitude of this time and learn why this is one of the most exciting moments in the democratic process."

Washington echoed Keys's message, stating how important it is for every American's vote and voice to be counted and heard in this high-stakes election.

"[I'm] thrilled to be joining my dear friends Alicia Keys and America Ferrera … so that we can amplify voters' voices and provide resources for all Americans as they participate in our democratic process," said Washington. "For our democracy to work, every American's voice must be heard and every vote must be counted. We are so excited for this opportunity to celebrate democracy and our collective power when we all show up at the polls."
