Kevin Cheng: The Macau incident was a great experience!

18 Jan - Hong Kong actor Kevin Cheng addressed the media for the first time recently after his unfortunate brush with the law in Macau last week.

As reported on Mingpao News, the actor was previously taken in by the Macau police alongside "Made in Kowloon" director, Fruit Chan for breaking the law by shooting at a restricted area without permit.

Soon after they were released, Fruit Chan released a video apology and told the media that Kevin was not to be blamed as he was only a victim in the situation.

Speaking to the media after his shoot in Ho Man Tin recently, Kevin assured that he had no issues whatsoever with what happened, and that the meeting with the police was a peaceful and relaxing one for him.

"It's like taking a break at a cafeteria. I even had a chance to take a nap. The officers were very understanding about my situation, since I spent all night shooting the movie the night before. They let me take a nap on the sofa," he said.

Kevin also stated that he was not in a panic mode at all throughout the course of the investigation, and was able to give a clear testimony about the incident.

"But it was the first time for me to do that. I should thank the director for giving me such a great experience," he joked.
