CAMP GENERAL ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan - One of the seven remaining alleged members of a kidnap-for-ransom (KFR) group operating in Central Luzon was arrested by intelligence operatives of the Bulacan Provincial Police Office (PPO) in Sitio Little Baguio, Barangay Poblacion, Baliuag, here.

Senior Superintendent Joel S. Orduna, Bulacan police director, identified the suspect as Dennis Mallari Desiderio, alias "Dencio," 47, married, a tricycle driver, and native of Plaridel.

Orduna cited reports of Supt. Edwin A. Quilates, Bulacan PPO Intelligence chief, said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Gregorio S. Sampaga, Presiding Judge of the Malolos City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 78, for the crime of theft.

Orduna said, the suspect was positively identified by Emerson Magadia as one of his abductors last February 14, in Barangay Sapang Putik, San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
Last Sunday, 3 of Desiderio's alleged cohorts had been arrested.
