Khloé Kardashian Insists 'I'm Not Lonely' as She Reveals She's 3-Years Single and Not Dating: 'Now Is Not the Time'

Khloé Kardashian is single — and she has no desire to change that anytime soon.

The Kardashians star, 40, gave fans a glimpse into her dating life and why she's chosen to remain single in a new interview with Bustle.

"Dating has not been a focus for me, and I’ve been single for about three years and love it," she confessed, sharing how much she enjoys time to herself. " But I’m not single and dating. I’m just single. I have such power and strength in that. I’m not lonely."

If she were "single and lonely," Kardashian said her relationship status would be a bit concerning, but instead, she said she was "single and thriving."

"I feel like I’m working on myself so much and am getting to such a good place that I just don’t want something to disrupt it," she explained, adding how dating in this day and age has been "very scary."

The Good American founder noted her disdain for meeting someone on social media, and despite the influx of messages from potential suitors, she revealed that she's "not checking my DMs" for any dates.

But dating is "awful anywhere," Kardashian told the outlet, explaining, "I just can’t imagine I would bring a man that I’m dating around my kids. So then where do I go to date you? I’m not going to a restaurant where there’s paparazzi and everyone’s going to say we’re getting married next week. I’m not going to your home because what if you kill me? You’re not coming to my home — I have kids! And I’m not going to a hotel — that’s presumptuous. So I’m like, 'What do you do?'"

Despite the concerns of her loved ones, like her mother Kris Jenner, Kardashian said she feels content with life without a man. Frankly, she admits she doesn't have time for one.

"My mom is like, 'Are you OK?'" she continued. "She probably thinks I’m going to die like this. But I honestly feel like right now is not the time. My focus is my children, work, and me, and I’m so happy. I actually don’t want to share my TV remote with someone. I love my time when I have it."

Kardashian was last linked to Tristan Thompson, with whom she shares two children — daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2. The former couple began dating on and off in 2016, with Thompson making headlines for his affairs multiple times.

Eventually, in December 2021, Kardashian ended things with Thompson for good when it was revealed that he had fathered a child with Maralee Nichols around the same time he and Kardashian were secretly expecting their second child via surrogate. She officially split from the NBA player, months before the birth of Tatum, in August 2022.

Since then, Kardashian has revealed that she has no intention of getting back together and opened up about setting firm coparenting boundaries.

"These boundaries are so important to put into place with Tristan because we’ve done this song and dance a handful of times already," she said during a June 2023 episode of The Kardashians. "I've gotten back with him after a cheating scandal so I don't know if Tristan is under the impression, ‘Oh wow, OK, let's just ride this out and eventually she’ll get back with me.’"

"I get why he would think that, so it's my job to set boundaries that my actions show otherwise," she continued. "I keep it very short and sweet and make sure he knows it's always about the kids because it's so easy to fall back into [habits]. I can't let those old habits easily come into my life. It's just not what I want."
