Kim Kardashian wore an iconic piece of fashion history to the 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala. On Saturday, the reality star attended the charity event at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where she walked the red carpet wearing one of Princess Diana's most notable necklaces for the first time publicly.

For the occasion, Kardashian slipped on a winter-white Gucci gown with an extreme plunging neckline that accommodated the size of the late princess's famous "Attallah Cross" pendant. The necklace—which is made of square-cut amethysts and circular diamonds that weigh in at 5.25 carats—was perched in between her cleavage and was paired with a chunky pearl choker that resembled another one of Diana's jewelry pieces: an eleven-strand necklace that was adorned with rubies and diamonds.

Kardashian finished off her look with a cream cape-style coat that was slung off her shoulders and styled her brunette hair in a mid-length bob with flipped ends and a single curl brushed across her forehead. Her makeup included nude lipgloss and shimmery purple eyeshadow in the corners of her eyes.

Back in 2023, the SKIMs founder purchased the Attallah Cross at a Sotheby's auction in London for $197,453—double its pre-auction estimate. Diana wore the pendant on several occasions, but most notably with a string of pearls at the Birthright Charity Gala in 1987 and matched it perfectly to her purple velvet Catherine Walker gown.
