Kings of Leon get to work on seventh album

US group Kings of Leon

Kings of Leon fans will be delighted to know that the band has started to write its seventh album.

The group will return to Nashville, where they recorded their last album "Mechanical Bull" in 2013, to work on the new songs, reports NME. According to an interview that frontman Caleb Followill gave to Sirius XM Music, the band is renting out a house in the town for the project.

"It's a really rad place and I think we can do something cool with it," Followill said. "And you know if we go in there and it sounds like shit, we can just go across the street to our [Nashville] studio."

He hinted that the writing should be complete by the end of the year.
