The Taiwan-based startup connects travellers with over 6,000 travel experiences across the globe

Taiwan-based online travel discovery platform KKday has officially launched its services in Singapore. In addition, it has also announced #taiwantrippin, a new digital campaign for Singapore.

Participants have a chance to win a seven-day holiday in Taiwan for four people worth up to S$8,000 (US$5,800). Entry involves uploading a 30-second video on Instagram on why one deserves to go on a trip to Taiwan using hastags #taiwantrippin and #kkdaysg. Participants also need to fill up a submission form.

“KKday aims to create an authentic and enjoyable travel experience,” said Ming Chen, Chief Executive Officer at KKday, in an official press statement. “We create a customised itinerary for all our customers. For example, we know that Singaporeans love visiting Jiufen, Shifen, and Pingxi so we coordinated a tour especially for Singaporeans to experience in a day.”

Founded in 2014, KKday serves travellers in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, and now Singapore. It provides over 6,000 travel experiences from 53 countries and 174 cities across the globe, including the Americas and Europe.

In March this year, it raised US$4.5 million in a Series A round led by AppWorks Ventures with participation by 91Capital.
