KLK Land Promotes Healthy Community Living And Family Bonding Through Cycling
The KLK Land Community Cyclethon is returning this year on Sunday, 10 November 2019 from 6.00am to 11.00am at Bandar Seri Coalfields, Sungai Buloh.
This fun cycling event is set to draw a bigger turnout of 1,000 cyclists and will showcase many exciting programmes and activities for participants and the public in a carnival atmosphere.
The KLK Land Community Cyclethon will be divided into two (2) categories. The first being the Family Fun Ride for family members to explore 20km around the Bandar Seri Coalfields (“BSC”) development. For the more adventurous at heart, the Adventure Ride is tailor-made for those with mountain bikes to experience a 20km nature trail into the Tuan Mee oil palm estate which is adjacent to the BSC development.

Additionally, in the effort to instil national pride and a greater appreciation for Malaysian sustainable palm oil, many exciting activities related to palm oil have also been planned for the participants and the general public. These include a cooking demonstration by celebrity chef Jaafar Onn, free tasting of mouth-watering food prepared using palm oil sponsored by Khalis Santan Sawit, DIY soap making, selfie competition, lucky draw and many more.
“Through KLK Land Community Cyclethon, we hope to cultivate healthy community living and promote family bonding. The parents, especially those who are participants of the Adventure Ride, can also expose their spouses and children to the sports activity that they are passionate about”, said Dato’ David Tan, Managing Director of KLK Land Sdn Bhd.
