Let's take things back to the end of 2021, when Gisele starts taking jiu-jitsu classes with Joaquim. (Note: we know the exact month thanks to to a DUST magazine article from 2022, in which she mentions starting class in "December last year.")

Gisele is loving her lessons (for what it's worth, she and Joaquim are just friends at this point) and gushes about Joaquim and his brothers—who also teach the martial arts—on Instagram.

Multiple outlets report Gisele and Tom Brady have hired divorce lawyers. A source tells Entertainment Tonight that “Rumblings of marital issues between Tom and Gisele began toward the end of the summer, and more recently, things have gotten worse and more serious. They haven’t been in a good place. Gisele feels like Tom has chosen his career over his family, and she is tired of it. She also has her own dreams and aspirations and doesn’t want to have to keep putting her goals on hold. They are weighing their options for their future as a family and thinking about what next steps might look like.”
November, 14 2022
Gisele and Joaquim travel to Costa Rica together, which raises eyebrows. Though a source denies they are dating, telling People, "He and his two brothers are Gisele and the kids' martial arts teachers. They are not dating."

March 22, 2023
Gisele is asked about rumors that she's dating Joaquim by Vanity Fair and says, "I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I'm divorced, I'm sure that they're going to try to attach me to anything. I'm so grateful to know all of them, because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially."
"He's our teacher and, most importantly, he's a person that I admire and that I trust. It's so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy."
June 2023
Gisele and Joaquim officially start dating, according to People. Though this news doesn't actually break until February of 2024, when a source says, "They have been dating since June. They're taking it slow. They started out as great friends first. She's very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other."
Another source adds, "Joaquim is a great guy. He is down to earth, kind and inspiring. Gisele was hesitant about dating after the divorce. It's been very natural for her to date Joaquim."

After People breaks the news that Gisele and Joaquim are together, a source tells the Daily Mail that Tom Brady and Joaquim are "not friends—but Joaquim is around his kids, so Tom has to find the good in him and does believe he is a good guy. If Joaquim ever becomes a father figure to his kids, Tom will be able to adapt.”

Gisele is asked about unsubstantiated rumors she cheated on Tom Brady during an interview with the New York Times and says, “That is a lie.” She adds, “I really don’t want to make my life a tabloid. I don’t want to open myself up to all of that.”
“This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful,” she continues. “They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course, for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”

The insider adds Gisele is “head over heels,” her “friends haven’t seen her like this before,” and “their chemistry together has always been there and they have a lot in common. They’ve been in love for a while.”

Fans spot Gisele and Joaquim strolling on the beach in Costa Rica, seemingly enjoying a lil babymoon together. The location makes sense, seeing as Costa Rica is home to one of Gisele's properties (as well as the backdrop to her and Joaquim's love story!).
