Kris Aquino says no to pitting Julia Barretto against Bea Alonzo
5 Aug – When it comes to the love triangle that is Bea Alonzo, Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto, Kris Aquino said that she will never blame the woman for everything.
As reported on Rappler, the Queen of All Media recently shared that particular piece in responding to a netizen, who commented on a photo of her having dinner with Erich Gonzales that she should ask Gonzales what she thinks of the said gossip, seeing that the actress is also good friends with Barretto.
"Can we not be negative and mess with other people's lives, especially Erich, who isn't directly involved?" she asked.
Aquino stated that while she loves Alonzo like the rest of the internet fandom, she refuses to judge Barretto for what had happened between Alonzo and Anderson.
"Why do we always blame the girl?" she added.
The actress stated that she would always remind her son Bimby to respect the person that he cares for.
"It's not hard to break up with someone. Respect someone you cared about enough to give them closure. Then move on. It's that simple," she said, referring to Alonzo's allegation that Anderson had simply ignored her rather than explain himself.
"It hurts to say goodbye but it is more hurtful to be someone who is not even worth a goodbye. So please respect woman and don't pit them against each other," she added.
