Kyle Cooke Says Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard Couldn't Communicate 'Without a Third Party' Prior to Split
According to Cooke, Radke knew he had communication issues with Hubbard before their engagement ended, telling his 'Summer House' costar: "That is not how I'm gonna spend the next 50 years of my life"
Kyle Cooke is sharing his two cents on what led to Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s broken engagement.
After weeks of rumors about their relationship status, Radke officially called off the wedding on Sept. 11 by writing a letter to family and friends explaining the decision.
"It's no secret that they've been in constant couple's therapy ever since they basically started dating," Cooke, 41, told E! News at Tuesday's Winter House season 3 premiere party. "From my perspective, there were times where I was like, 'Man, it's almost like the only time they could communicate on any given week was in therapy."

Though he noted that the former couple sought help from both their individual therapists and a couple’s counselor, their inability to see eye to eye on their issues ultimately led to their split.
"It's almost like they couldn't even communicate anymore without a third party," Cooke added. "And Carl was like, 'That is not how I'm gonna spend the next 50 years of my life."
In his letter to family and friends shared with PEOPLE, Radke announced the news and apologized for any confusion or inconvenience for their loved ones.
"Words cannot possibly express how difficult the last two weeks have been for Lindsay and I," he wrote. "We are so incredibly sorry to all of our guests for the confusion and lack of communication. We were left trying to figure out how this all exactly happened before we could even have the opportunity to determine the path forward amongst ourselves."
"There have been a lot of false narratives and misunderstandings that have made this all the more painful but sadly at this time we are not moving forward with the wedding," continued Radke, 38. "The fact of the matter is Lindsay is devastated and I'm crushed with how all this transpired. I graciously ask for some patience and grace to heal and recover while we navigate this extremely difficult time."

Shortly after the news of their split went public, Hubbard, 37, shared a statement to Instagram where she thanked her followers or giving her time and space to “grieve the loss of not only my relationship, but my friendship with someone I considered my best friend for 8 years.”
“The last 2 weeks have been the most heartbreaking and emotional weeks of my life,” Hubbard wrote. “My entire life and future was ripped out from underneath me and I’ve had a hard time making sense of it all - with no answers or closure on why. I feel humiliated by how it went down, and simultaneously heartbroken that it happened in the first place. My trust has been betrayed, and coming to terms with that has been difficult for me.”
