Kylie Minogue ‘super excited’ for Olympics

Kylie Minogue is “super excited” to watch the London 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony tonight.

The singer took to social networking site Twitter to tell her followers she can’t wait to see the spectacle, set to kick off the iconic sports event.

When one of her fans asked whether she was going to try to overtake runner Usain Bolt by doing her dance moves on the Olympic track, she joked she may struggle to keep up with him but added she will most definitely be watching tonight.

“I can't strut THAT fast! But I WILL be watching tonight. Super excited 4 Danny Boyle & his #London2012 vision...#BRINGITON (sic),” she wrote.

Meanwhile, TV presenter Giuliana Rancic has also expressed her excitement about the impending spectacle.

The star is going to be presenting for E! News from the event and gushed about the great atmosphere in the UK capital.

“Touchdown in London! So thrilled to finally be here. The city is electric. @ENews #Olympics (sic),” she tweeted.

Actress and model Anne V also joined the stars discussing the event.

“Who will be watching the #Olympics Opening Ceremony tomorrow? I'm soooo excited, I can hardly wait (sic)!” she told her Twitter followers yesterday.
