25 May – Steven Lin, the former member of the Taiwanese hip hop group LA Boyz, recently became the first member of the group to get married.
As reported on Epoch Times, the singer who has retired from the music scene, tied the knot with non-showbiz girlfriend Christine Mach in France a few days ago - a ceremony that was attended by his fellow LA Boyz members Stanley and Jeffrey Huang, as well as singer Coco Lee.
Steven also took to Instagram to announce the good news and share photos from the wedding, writing, "Thank you to all our friends and family who made this monumental step in our lives possible. We could not have done it without all of you! We have been blessed to have such amazing people around us. There was so much love in the air you could reach out and touch it."
In another post, he wrote, "It is said that there are four questions of value in life; what is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is with living for? And what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same...only love."
The LA Boyz was a smash hit in Taiwan back when they debuted in the early '90s, but was officially disbanded in 1997.
While they then went on to establish another hip hop group Machi, Steven later left the group to focus on his studies in medicine, and eventually became an orthopaedic surgeon practicing in the United States.
