Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande's 90s yearbook hairstyles are killing me

From Cosmopolitan

ICYMI, this bank holiday weekend Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande made their respective fandoms' entire lives over the weekend with a brand new single, Rain on Me, and accompanying music video of techno-magenta dreams.

Let it be known that I have a *lot* to say on the matter of Gaga and Ari's aesthetic choices throughout the video - but first: breaking news:

Probably due to their inevitable post-collab BFF status, Ariana Grande has posted the most adorable twinning yearbook pictures of the pair to her story, and the nostalgia is real.

Though the monochrome pics disguise hair colours and make-up choices (lucky for them - no Heather Shimmer lipstick in sight), I'm obsessed with seeing their natural brow shape and thick, Rachel Green-esque hairstyles.

Also, is it just me or did everyone go through that off-centre phase, once we learned you didn't *have* to split your hair right down the middle after washing it?

It's also super interesting to see the pair's natural locks, pre-fame - especially as Ari has only recently been experimenting with wearing hair naturally, after opening up a few years back on Facecbook about her struggles with hair loss thanks to intensive colouring and treatments while filming TV show Victorious.

Our gal Gaga is also no stranger to changing up her hair (more recently dabbling in candyfloss pinks). And, in the Rain on Me video, she brought it home with a gorgeous feathered mullet, following in the footsteps of Miley Cyrus (who, by the way, lets her mum trim her mullet?!).

Anyway, I digress - the throwback pics are below for you to obsess over at your leisure. I, for one, am dying.

Excuse me while I delve into my own family albums to prove I had the very same hair phases as our gals, ergo, should be part of their gang / involved in the next collab.
