Lafarge Canada Inc. announces the acquisition of Mixcor Aggregates Inc.’s business

As part of their continued dedication to growing Canada’s economy, Lafarge Canada Inc. ("Lafarge") is proud to announce the acquisition of Mixcor Aggregates Inc.’s ("Mixcor") Alberta-based assets.

Twenty-six sites and 50 employees will join the Lafarge team, leading the way in green building solutions.

The acquisition is an example of Lafarge’s collaboration with key leaders in Alberta’s government on shared priorities such as sustainable growth, green construction and driving the success of its communities to build a stronger Alberta.

Service Alberta Minister Nate Glubish responded to the completion of the acquisition by saying, "Alberta’s government is committed to building, diversifying, and creating jobs in Alberta now. Every job is important as we work to protect Albertans from the financial effects of the pandemic and Lafarge’s work in our province ensures job security for more Albertans."
