Lai Lok Yi denies conflict with in-laws
27 Mar – TVB actor Lai Lok Yi has recently dismissed rumours of rift between him and wife Nicole's family.
According to On CC News, the actor decided to step up and quell all rumours after realising that the media still wrote about a supposed discord between him and Nicole's wealthy parents, who allegedly rejected him as a son-in-law.
"I have already explained it at my wedding. It isn't true. This isn't the first time I read these rumours," he said.
He stressed that Nicole's family is very supportive of his career choice and has never pushed him to help Nicole with her beauty business.
He also denied allegations saying that he and Nicole are now living in a villa that was given by her father, businessman Lee Chi Keung.
"I have always lived in my own house. Just because I got married, doesn't mean that I have to take anything from anyone. I am good enough to get things on my own," he said.
