Lakhimpur Kheri violence: Priyanka Gandhi demands resignation of MoS Home

Lakhimpur (UP), Oct 07 (ANI): Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra demanded resignation of MoS Home Ajay Mishra Teni over Lakhimpur Kheri violence. “These families don't want compensation, they want justice. It can't be possible unless he (Ajay Mishra Teni) resigns as MoS Home. Impartial probe is not possible under him. If they can arrest us without FIR, why can't they arrest him (Ashish Mishra),” said Priyanka Gandhi. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi met families of victims in Lakhimpur Kheri violence. As many as eight persons died in the incident on October 03.
