'Not ready for this': Lauren Ash shocks fans with 'teenaged dream' punk photo

Lauren Ash is rocking her inner teen.

On Tuesday, the 39-year-old "Superstore" actress shared a punky snap of herself taken during a recent photoshoot by Sergio Garcia.

Posing with a Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, the Canadian star rocked her new pink hair, along with a hot pink plaid skirt, white fishnet tights and a white tank top. Ash paired the look with a black lace choker, dainty rings and two multi-coloured beaded bracelets.

To complete the look, Ash looked stunning with a punk-style makeup look, featuring black eyeliner, a pink lipstick and pink shimmery eyeshadow done by Los Angeles-based makeup artist Aaron Paul. Brazilian-born celebrity hair stylist Gui Schoedler put the star's candy-coloured hair into effortless waves.

"I can't wait any longer. Had to share one of my fave pics from my latest shoot. Full photoshoot to come, but somehow, in living my teenaged dream, I became all of your teenaged dreams," Ash captioned her post.

Fans were shocked by Ash's photo, with many showing their love for her new look.

"Has anyone seen my wig?! Coz it seems to have been snatched..." commented "Superstore" co-star Nico Santos.

"Omg was not ready for this," wrote comedian Justine Marino.

"Ugh. Now my replacement phone has spontaneously combusted. Don't think AppleCare's gonna cover a third," a fan joked.

"You look amazing. So glad you are feeling you!!" added another.

"Giving off Avril [Lavigne] vibes!" one person replied.

"Not only are you looking so good but you're obviously feeling so good, too! Brava!" someone penned.

Last week, Ash posted another "sneak peek" from the photoshoot, where she debuted her new pink hair for her fans.

"I am dyingabout these pics. Also, I have officially entered my Jem era with this pink hair and have never felt more myself! Thank you to my hair angel [Gui Schoedler] for making this pink dream come true and to makeup god [Aaron Paul] for this perfect look," Ash captioned that post. "Stay tuned for the final pics!!"

In the comments, fans raved about Ash's beauty.
