League of Legends: Upset, Hylissang headline LEC Spring Split All-Pro Team
The League of Legends European Championship (LEC) regular season has concluded for the Spring Split, with the league revealing the players inducted into the All-Pro teams on Tuesday (22 March).
The LEC First All-Pro Team consists of Andrei "Odoamne" Pascu (top lane) and Kim "Malrang" Geun-seong (jungler) from Rogue Esports, Vincent "Vetheo" Berrié (mid lane) from Misfits Gaming, as well as Elias "Upset" Lipp (bottom lane) and Zdravets "Hylissang" Iliev Galabov (support) from Fnatic.
The players were chosen through a vote by a panel of commentators, coaches, journalists, and other League of Legends (LoL) affiliates.
Odoamne has been successful in the top lane, mostly with Graves and Ornn, effectively outdueling his opponent in the laning phase.
Meanwhile, Malrang, who recently moved from LoL Champions Korea (LCK) to join Rogue in the LEC, overpowered his opponents in the jungle on various champions such as Hecarim, Volibear, and Xin Zhao.

Vetheo is the only player from Misfits Gaming to be part of the First All-Pro team, but the mid laner claimed the record for the most kills in a single game with 16 as well as the most kills throughout the regular season at 98 with a 74.1% kill participation rate.
Fnatic’s bot lane continued to dominate in the LEC this year, with Upset getting the highest KDA at 80 kills and only 11 deaths in the Spring Split, while also earning the highest GD at 15 minutes.
On the other hand, Hylissang ranked fourth in the most number of assists in the season, but facilitated the success of most of Fnatic’s teamfights and skirmishes — like his Pyke Support pick in a match against G2 Esports in week six of the regular season.
Hylissang also had the most votes for his selection, with 51 out of 53 panelists voting for him as best support.

In third place are Martin "Wunder" Nordahl Hansen (top lane) from Fnatic, Javier "Elyoya" Prades Batalla (jungler) of MAD Lions, Rogue’s Emil "Larssen" Larsson (mid lane), Patrik “Patrik” Jírů (bottom lane) from Excel Esports, and Raphaël "Targamas" Crabbé (support) from G2 Esports.

This was the first time since 2016 that no player from G2 Esports was named to the First All-Pro Team.
G2 mid laner Rasmus "caPs" Borregaard Winther was notably absent in any of the All-pro squads, marking the first time in his career that he failed to win the award.
Several additional awards, including the LEC's Spring Split MVP, rookie of the split, and coaching staff of the split, are set to be announced in the coming weeks.
