Australian A-League Golden Boot winner Daniel McBreen has signed with China's Shanghai SIPG on loan, his Central Coast club said on Saturday. McBreen, 36, will join former Mariners' teammate Bernie Ibini at the Shanghai club on loan until October, the club said. Under the terms of the arrangement, McBreen's loan spell in China will end on October 31, meaning the striker could play again for the Mariners in round four of the new A-League season on November 2. McBreen, who has previously played in Romania, Scotland and England, said the loan move offers him a great opportunity to contribute to Shanghai SIPG's targets and immerse himself in a new culture. "It is something I am looking forward to," he said. "Obviously Bernie has gone there. It's a wonderful city and a club that is looking to do things and get bigger and better, so to be part of that will be a great experience."
