Leanne Li is happy to retire from her bridesmaid duty

24 Oct – Hong Kong actress Leanne Li recently announced that she is retiring from her job - being a bridesmaid, that is.

The actress, who was one of the bridesmaids at Christine Kuo's wedding last weekend, recently shared a photo taken with fellow bridesmaids Grace Wong and Eliza Sam, writing, "Being a bridesmaid for the 10th time. I officially announce that I will retire, for all my sisters are married and lived happily ever after. Wish you forever happiness."

Said Leanne, Christine was the last of her group of friends to have tied the knot, which means that there is no need for her to be involved in a wedding any longer, at least for the time being.

"All of my best friends are now married, so I have finished my mission," she said.

She also shared a photo with the bride, Christine Kuo, writing, "Love you so much princess! Wish you all the happiness and love with your hubby! And hope you will have a baby soon!"

Leanne, who was the first to tie the knot among her group of TVB best buddies, was the maid-of-honour at Linda Chung's wedding in 2015, and was one of the bridesmaids at Eliza Sam's wedding in 2016, and Grace Wong's ceremony the year after.

The last bachelorette of the group, Christine Kuo, tied the knot with professional racer William Lok on 19 October.
