Lebron James recently booked his unprecedented seventh straight trip to the NBA Finals.
On Wednesday, Lebron and his L.A. home were the target of a hate crime. TMZ Sports first reported that the home was vandalized, with the N word spray-painted on his front gate. Multiple LAPD units and a neighborhood patrol vehicle responded to the house early Wednesday morning, but by the time they showed up, the disgusting racial slur had already been covered up.
TMZ Sports also reported that investigators are looking for security footage from neighbors, which may show the perpetrator.
Variety first reported that LeBron bought this 9,350-square-foot Brentwood mansion in 2015 for $21 million. However, it does not appear that Lebron lives in the Brentwood home on a regular basis and was not there when the incident occurred.
LeBron responded to the incident during media day for the NBA Finals.
