Reese Witherspoon has announced that the Legally Blonde cast have reunited for the first time in 20 years. The team that worked together on the iconic two Noughties films got together recently for a virtual reunion, which Witherspoon teased on her Instagram account.
"Ohmigod you guys!! It’s a Legally Blonde Reunion," she wrote "🎀 We laughed, we cried and we may or may not have done the bend & snap for old times sake! 💅🏽 For the first time in 20 years, join me and the #LegallyBlonde cast tomorrow at 3:15PM PST on the @hellosunshine YouTube channel! PS: Don’t you want to see if Elle & Warner finally make up?"

The full reunion will be released later today, where fans will get to the chance to see the cast discuss the movies – and hopefully speak about the upcoming third film, which has been rumoured to be in the works for some time.
In 2018, Witherspoon finally confirmed rumours that a third version of the movie was happening, sharing a video of herself in a very Elle Woods-inspired look with the caption: "It's true."

Later in the year, the actress confirmed that they had been working on the plot, before pairing up with Mindy Kaling on the movie.
"Oh it's gonna be so fun!" Witherspoon said. "I got to go to a meeting the other day where we talked about all the new plot points and all the characters and some returning characters and some new characters. I mean, I got so excited just in the meeting. I was like, 'This is gonna be good.'"
