30 Apr – To commemorate the launch of their newly designed smart phones, LG Electronics will be hosting an "LG Optimus Super Concert" Facebook event in collaboration with their models; Super Junior.

According to Korea IT Times website, the event is mainly for fans residing in Southeast Asia, and will go on for six weeks starting with Indonesia, and continued to other neighbouring countries such as the Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and more. The date of these performances will coincide with the availability of the release of the smart phones in each country.

Executive Vice President and the Head of Global Sales and Marketing of LG Mo-bile Communications Company, Brian Na stated, "Asia is one of the most important regions for LG's smart phone business. Through the launch of the Optimus L-Series and our sponsorship of this virtual concert, we hope to deliver a broader mobile experience to a wider audience of consumers."

It was revealed that any fan that clicks on the LIKE button on their country's individual "LG Mobile" Facebook page will be entered as an event participant, and they will have an opportunity to virtually receive messages from Super Junior, and feel as though they are experiencing a live performance by their favourite idols.

During the six-week event, 2,100 lucky winners will also win special "Mr. Simple" music video CD co-produced by LG and Super Junior. The CD also contains behind-the-scenes footage on the making of the video.
