Liar season 2 first-look trailer shows Andrew's murder storyline
Good news for fans of crime thrillers that have one-word names that are hard to remember, ITV's Liar is almost back on our screens!
The final episode of the first series saw a whole host of characters trying and take down serial sexual assault perpetrator Andrew Earlham (Ioan Gruffudd), with the final shot showing him captured and killed and dumped in a river.
What it didn't show was who was the murderer was – that's where series two comes in.
The first-look teaser for the second run sees multiple characters looking very guilty indeed, while a voice over states: "There's a long list of people who had reason to kill him. I did not murder Andrew Earlham!"
Of course, that sounds like the kind of thing someone who would murdered Andrew Earlham would say, especially in a show called Liar.
As well as the returning cast members/suspects, series two will feature some new characters, including actress Katherine Kelly as DI Karen Renton. The star previously worked with Liar co-creators on another generically-titled thriller, Cheat.
Beyond that, series two will feature The Musketeers' Howard Charles and former Emmerdale star Amy Nuttall as Liar uses shifting timelines to re-examine the weeks leading up to Andrew's murder.
