Lim Ee Seng named best CEO at Singapore Corporate Awards 2016

Frasers Centrepoint group CEO Lim Ee Seng has been accorded the Best CEO of the Year award for listed companies with a market capitalisation of over $1 billion at the 2016 Singapore Corporate Awards.

Lim was appointed group CEO in 2004. During his tenure, the company’s total assets quadrupled from about $5 billion to over $23 billion, while core earnings grew at a compound annual growth rate of 10.4% to $544 million in FY2014/15.

According to Frasers Centrepoint, Lim played a crucial role in establishing four real estate investment trust platforms for the group. The four listed Frasers-branded REITs cover the company’s retail, commercial, hospitality and industrial assets. Lim will retire on Sept 30 after spending 36 years in the real estate industry, of which 12 were at the helm of Frasers Centrepoint.
