Senator Leila de Lima’s arraignment will be arraigned today at the Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 32.
This is relative to her case for disobedience to summons filed against the senator by the Department of Justice.
This, after Senator de Lima advised her former driver and body guard, Ronnie Dayan, not to attend the hearing at the Lower House last year on the alleged drug trade inside the New Bilibid Prison (NBP).
It can be recalled that the lady senator has earlier admitted giving the advice to Dayan through a text message not to attend the Lower House probe.
De Lima is presently detained at the PNP Custodial Center for the case on her alleged involvement in the Bilibid drug trade. – UNTV News and Rescue
