Lin Chi-ling is ready to retire from showbiz
10 Dec – Taiwanese actress Lin Chi-ling recently admitted that she has no qualms leaving showbiz to focus on her family life if necessary.
As reported on Epoch Times, the actress, who sat down for an interview with a mainland weekly news site recently, shared that she has no regrets when it comes to her life and career, as she has a good family and has developed her own charity organisation.
"I need to focus on my family and my charity work. My acting career is not my main focus. If the limelight is turned off now, I will step down. I will take a bow and be full of gratitude," she said.
Lin also stated in the interview that she decided to marry her Japanese husband Akira because it was the perfect time.
"I had to be brave and fight for my happiness," she added.
It is noted that Lin has admitted in previous interviews that she would like to retire from showbiz in her 40s.
