Lin Chi-ling's father denies latest pregnancy rumours
18 Sep – Lin Chi-ling's father has recently denied another rumours about his daughter's pregnancy.
As reported on Mingpao, the pregnancy rumours resurfaced recently thanks to Taipei mayor Ko Wen-je, who accidentally blurted that Lin is married and pregnant, when asked to compare the actress to journalist Huang Jing-ying.
He immediately changed the topic when pressed by the media.
While Lin's camp has declined to respond to the latest pregnancy reports, the actress' father Lin Fan-nan recently clarified that his daughter is still without a child.
"I looked at her belly carefully last time, and asked her if she is pregnant. She shook her head," he said.
Asked if he has urged Lin and husband Akira to have a baby as soon as possible, the elder Lin said that that is a matter between the couple.
"But the two of them are very healthy, so I am not worried," he said.
On the other hand, he also confirmed that Lin and Akira will not be holding a wedding reception following their marriage announcement in June.
