“The Lincoln Lawyer” isn’t just a Netflix hit; it’s a certified TV hit. The legal drama from David E. Kelley garnered 1.6 billion minutes viewed on Nielsen’s Top Streaming list for the week that spanned Oct. 14 to 20. Considering the fact that Season 3 of the Manuel Garcia-Rulfo-starring series premiered midway through that week on Oct. 17, those numbers are especially impressive.

According to Nielsen, the audience for “The Lincoln Lawyer” tends to be a bit older than the typical streaming audience, as 61% falls into the 50 years and over age range. However, Nielsen described its viewing profile as “quite balanced,” as it was composed of 17% Hispanic viewers (vs. 19% overall), 14% Black (vs. 14%), 6% Asian (vs. 7%) and 61% white viewers (vs. 61%).

“Love Is Blind” and “Outer Banks” — two other Netflix hits — occupied the second and third places on the list, respectively. “Love Is Blind” saw 1.2 billion minutes viewed during a week that took place while it released two new episodes in Season 7, while “Outer Banks” brought in 1.1 billion minutes viewed for the week. It should be noted that the first half of “Outer Banks” Season 3 premiered on Oct. 10, which likely led to the viewership bump.

There was one last Netflix original that made the Top 10 streaming list. “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” came in 10th place, securing 579 million minutes viewed. Seeing as how the series premiered nearly a month prior to the dates in question, that longevity is impressive.

Speaking of Netflix, “Lost” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” both of which are available to stream on Netflix and Hulu, made the list. “Lost” came in sixth place with 827 million minutes viewed during the week. As for “Grey’s Anatomy,” it came in eighth place with 717 million minutes streamed.

As for the rest of the Top 10 Streaming list, Hulu appeared twice, all thanks to Fox animation. “Bob’s Burgers” came in fourth place, raking up 945 million minutes viewed for the week, and “Family Guy” same in seventh place with 808 million minutes viewed.

The rest of the streaming list was made up of children’s shows. Mainstay “Bluey” scored Disney+ fifth place with 926 million minutes viewed. Finally, Paramount+ appeared in ninth place thanks to “SpongeBob SquarePants,” which saw 630 million minutes viewed.

There were also some surprises on the Top 10 Streaming Movies list. Netflix’s “Woman of the Hour,” starring Anna Kendrick about the “Dating Game Killer” Rodney Alcala, came in first place with 556 million viewing minutes. That was followed in second place by “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” on Netflix (436 million minutes), third place by “Sing” on Netflix and Peacock (410 million minutes) and fourth place by “Inside Out 2” on Disney+ (386 million minutes).

But perhaps the most surprising title on the movies list came in seventh place. The 1993 claymation film “A Nightmare Before Christmas” on Disney+ saw 244 million viewing minutes, amassing an audience that was 40% kids aged 2 to 11 and 46% adults aged 18 to 49.
