Users can listen to thousands of different stations and top playlists (like Today’s Hits and Acoustic Chill), without having to put down a credit card. All you have to do is download the Amazon Music app to your smartphone or go-to device and hit play.

According to the service’s FAQ page, even if you don’t have a Prime membership you’re still “able to listen to an ad-supported selection of top playlists and stations on compatible Alexa-enabled devices with Amazon Music, for free.” While you won’t have access to all of the 60 million songs available on the subscription version of the service, you will have top hits at your fingertips.

But if you do want to listen to your favorite music ad-free, you can upgrade to Amazon Music Unlimited at any time for $9.99 and cancel whenever you want.
