Lee Hsien Yang, son of Singapore's founding father Lee Kuan Yew, has renewed calls to demolish the family home at 38 Oxley Road.

A day after the death of his sister, Lee Wei Ling, he shared via a Facebook post a statement that Lee had told him to convey after her passing.

He wrote, "My father’s, Lee Kuan Yew, and my mother’s, Kwa Geok Choo, unwavering and deeply felt wish was for their house at 38 Oxley Road, Singapore 238629 to be demolished upon the last parent’s death.

“Lee Kuan Yew had directed each of his 3 children to ensure that their parents’ wish for demolition be fulfilled. He had also appealed directly to the people of Singapore. Please honour my father by honouring his wish for his home to be demolished."

A honeymoon for this Spanish couple in Singapore turned into a nightmare of their own making.

The couple was detained at immigration while trying to leave Singapore on Friday (4 Oct) for protesting against Peter Lim, the billionaire owner of Valencia CF.

The husband, Dani Cuesta posted photographs of himself outside Lim's home holding a banner that read "Lim Go Home". Valencia fans have been unhappy with Lim and protesting his tenure for years.

Cuesta has shared photos of him holding the banner at various tourist spots in Singapore.

A video was also posted showing him pasting a yellow sticker reading "Lim out" on the residence's gate. According to him, the same stickers were also pasted on lamp posts around the city.

A day before they were supposed to leave Singapore, Cuesta joked on X that he he did not want to "end up in a Singapore prison as that’s not the way I see my honeymoon going".

He added, "My wife's been reading up about the laws in Singapore – she's looking forward to getting through immigration tomorrow."

Valencia's mayor confirmed that "two people had their passports taken away, due to an ongoing police investigation".

Singer Jennifer Lopez is finally ready to 'get on the mic' and talk about her second split from Ben Affleck.

In a chat with comedian Nikki Glazer for Interview magazine, the 55-year-old said she doesn't regret the pain from the split "for one second".

She said, "That doesn’t mean it didn’t almost take me out for good. It almost did. But now, on the other side of it, I think to myself, 'F***, that is exactly what I needed. Thank you, God. I’m sorry it took me so long. I’m sorry that you had to do this to me so many times.'"

And though love might be what she feels, Lopez isn't in a hurry to date. She is not "looking for anybody".

Said Lopez, "What can I f****** do when it’s just me flying on my own? What if I’m just free?"

Does your house have undesirable traits?

When selling your property, even the slightest 'flaw' can lead to a bargaining chip for buyers. Is there too much noise? Is it close to the road and it's too dusty? Is it too hot? Is the view blocked?

The list goes on and on.

Chances are, you might have one or two 'bad' features but don't be dismayed. There's always a way to spin things.

For example, if you have a west sun-facing unit – which means you'll get the full blast of the afternoon sun – you can always try to sell it to avid gardeners or families with a large laundry load. You could even tempt people with a "good sunset view" in your listing.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do.

Well, this South African woman, who is married to a Chinese-Malay husband, tried his family's tradition of confinement after a caesarian birth. She liked it.

She spent 30 days resting and recovering after giving birth. Instead of a confinement nanny, her mother-in-law cooked her meals and took care of the baby for her.

Samantha Lee, a chiropractor, from Auckland, New Zealand, said: “It’s all focused around eating, sleeping and resting. It’s definitely what I needed. I’m not someone who wants to take a lot of rest."

She also abstained from showering, as per the tradition, and got a wipe down with ginger water instead.

To know more about her confinement experience, read here.
