Liverpool XI vs Everton: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Premier League today
Liverpool have Trent Alexander-Arnold back in the squad as Arne Slot restores his key stars for tonight’s Merseyside derby clash with Everton at Goodison Park.
Liverpool lost 1-0 to Plymouth in a massive FA Cup fourth round shock on Sunday and now must dust themselves down quickly ahead of the short trip across Stanley Park.

Alexander-Arnold earns a spot on the bench, having missed the last two games due to a knee injury suffered in the win over Bournemouth at the start of the month. He has joined in with training this week and a final decision on his fitness was taken on Wednesday.
Fellow England defender Joe Gomez, however, will not feature for the Reds in the rearranged Merseyside derby.
Gomez came off injured early against Plymouth on his comeback from a hamstring issue that had kept him sidelined since December and Slot has admitted concern with the latest problem affecting the same leg. He is still undergoing assessment and will definitely not be involved against Everton.
Curtis Jones is involved, with the midfielder left on the bench at Home Park on Sunday due to a slight knock.
Liverpool otherwise call upon most of their regulars as they look to spoil the farewell party at Goodison.
Alisson Becker, Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch all return to Slot’s starting lineup tonight.
Liverpool XI: Alisson, Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Salah, Diaz, Gakpo
