Watch: Lorraine laughs on a wardrobe malfunction on live TV

Lorraine Kelly was left red-faced when her top popped open as she was chatting to The Wanted on her show.

The TV star, 61, was talking to the boyband about their new music when her blouse suddenly fell open.

Gasping in shock, the blushing presenter starting to laugh and told the band members: “I'm so sorry! My top button just popped in excitement."

Barely able to talk through her giggles, she pulled her shirt closed and kept apologising to Tom Parker and co for almost flashing them.

“You young boys don't need that in the morning!” she exclaimed, but Parker joked: “We do!”

The Wanted all started to laugh and singer Jay McGuinness told Kelly: “That was directly in my field of vision too!”

Viewers saw the funny side of Kelly’s awkward wardrobe malfunction.

“So funny!” one person tweeted while another was cringing, posting: “How embarrassing!”

“Lucky boys!” joked another.

One posted: “How brilliant, #Lorraine totally losing it interviewing #TheWanted, that was very rare & very very funny!!"

Plenty quipped that talking to The Wanted would do the same to them.

“If I was interviewing you all my top button may have popped open too,” one person tweeted.

Another said: “@Lorraine don't worry about your top button popping and giving @MaxGeorge, @TomParker, @JayMcGuiness, @SivaKaneswaran. @NathanSykes a wee flash, mine might have just popped open too if they were all in front of me.”
