According to Louis Theroux, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness star Carole Baskin probably didn't feed her husband to the tigers.

In the viral seven-part series, which chronicles big cat obsessive Joe Exotic and his toxic relationship with animal rights figure Carole, she is accused of murdering her first husband Don Lewis by various people.

Don mysteriously disappeared 23 years ago after leaving his home in Florida, but Carole has always pleaded her innocence amid the allegations.

Louis, whose own BBC documentary America's Most Dangerous Pets featured Joe, binged the whole series and recently invited his Instagram fans to forward some relevant questions, per The Independent.

"My opinion is, it seems very unlikely," he responded when asked by on follower about the sinister accusations made against Carole.

The documentarian also weighed in on his time spent with Joe, telling fans that "the most troubling thing he said was probably that if the park went bankrupt he would kill all the animals".

With the investigation into Don's disappearance now reportedly reopen thanks to the Netflix show, there could be further twists in this crazy tale.
