Paige Turley chose to share her £50k winnings envelope with boyfriend Finley Tapp – but she definitely won't be giving any money to her famous ex.

Paige, who dated singer Lewis Capaldi prior to her appearance and eventual win on Love Island, heard that he joked around in January about being the reason that she ended up on the show, and addressed his claim on her prize money.

After leaving the villa, and in typical understated fashion, she said: "That’s just Lewis, it comes as no surprise he said that. But I can’t give him any money because once I pay off my debts there’ll be nothing left."

In terms of needing the cash, we can safely assume that Lewis is doing quite well, after he won big at the BRITs, where he confirmed that his chart-topping heartbreaker 'Someone You Loved' was not written about Paige, but rather his gran.

Paige and Finn will have a lot of use for the £50k that they won on the finale, after they revealed that they will be moving to Manchester together, with Paige leaving her native Glasgow.

The two chatted about living together in the last episodes of the show, with Finn confessing that he wants to be together 24/7, which gave Paige the push that she needed to choose love over her hometown.

"I totally love Scotland," she said in her exit interview. "I’ve never had a reason to move away from it. I think Glasgow might be a bit rough for Finn. They’d eat him alive!"
