Last night's Love Island was a tangled web of love triangles and lies after Rebecca Gormley entered the villa and Sophie Piper decided she still fancies Connor (not with a g) Durman.

OG couple Sophie and Connor ended up sharing a secret kiss, confirming they're still very much into each other. Rochelle Humes's little sister then told the rest of the girls about the kiss, but Rebecca ended up savagely spilling the tea straight to Sophie's partner Connagh.

"I did hear... someone was saying that Sophie actually kissed Connor yesterday," she told the model.

A shocked Connagh asked: "What was that, sorry?"

"Yeah," Rebecca continued. "Sophie shared a kiss with Connor."

Unsurprisingly, things became awkward when Connagh took Sophie for a chat about the secret snog. But rather than tell the truth, Sophie said she "had a kiss with him in the challenge".

"Someone told me so, so I was just wondering if that was the case," Connagh persisted.

That's when Sophie started to back-pedal and told him: "He did give me a peck but that was afterward."

Connagh asked if it was part of the challenge before Sophie decided to set the record straight.

"We had a kiss in the challenge and we had a kiss after. We had a kiss after we spoke after he got back from his date."

Connagh replied: "There was a little bit of confusion because you just said you had a kiss in the challenge, but then all of a sudden another one has come out of nowhere."

At that point, Sophie told him she's "such an awkward person. I’m not even gonna lie, actual s**t just came out of my mouth."

In the same episode, Callum was also caught in a bare-faced lie when he told Shaughna he didn't say Rebecca was stunning.

While Shaughna was in earshot, he told the rest of the boys: "You can't lie and say she's not stunning because she is."

But when she asked about what he said, Callum responded: "That never left my mouth ever."

Oh dear.
