Over 10% of Restaurants Closed Due to COVID-19: 2 Investor Impacts

Many restaurants are still struggling to recover from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic -- a crisis that's not yet behind us. It's estimated that more than 10% of U.S. restaurants have closed their doors since the coronavirus outbreak hit in March 2020, according to food service research firm Datassential. Surprisingly, food trucks saw the most closures, with 22.5% shuttering.
