MAC & Proenza Schouler collection unveiled

MAC has unveiled its latest designer collaboration, a capsule collection with Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of New York City based fashion label Proenza Schouler. The collection riffs on the designers' signature use of quirky colors and irridescent finishes.

First announced in October last year, the collection will hit select stores on May 1.

Items include Ombre Face Powders, Lipsticks, Pro Longwear Eye Liners and Lip Pencils, Nail Lacquers, and a 129SE Powder Brush, all arriving in typically lustworthy irridescent packaging.

MAC has also released a fantastic video titled "Cool Cleverness." Soundtracked by New Zealand alt-pop star Connan Mockasin's "It's Choade My Dear," it shows the collection worn by a trio of Proenza Schouler-clad beauties by the sea. Fashion snapper Mario Sorrenti shot the main advertising images.
