If you've been waiting for a sign to officially pull out the box of summer clothes that's been collecting dust in the back of your closet and rifle through it to see what's viable, this, my friend, is it. Madewell has just released its Summer 2019 lookbook, and it's a warm weather-haze of florals, pastels, navy accents and, of course, lots of denim.

As in previous years, the little sister brand to J. Crew (which may potentially be the company's saving grace) is offering the summer collection to Madewell Insiders first, but will be launching the collection on its website for all customers on April 23.

According to the brand, the collection's theme is road trip destinations, starting with New England, with beachy motifs and block stamp-inspired graphics.

"The collection then carries to California and the Beverly Hills Hotel, offering prints that elude vintage wallpaper, incorporating fruit and terrazzo texture; followed by the Hawaiian islands with rainbow prints, rick rack and gingham to evoke fun vacation vibes," reads the press release accompanying the lookbook. "Rainbow stripes and plaids are seen throughout to get you feeling festive, while also incorporating a classic take on crisp whites, lighter washes and seasonal favorites in our dresses, shirts, skirts, jumpsuits and more."
