Maharashtra: One held for allegedly raping minor on Ulhasnagar railway station premises

Mumbai, Sept 12 (ANI): Mumbai Railway Police have arrested an accused for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl near Ulhasnagar Railway Station on September 10, said Quaiser Khalid, Mumbai Railway Police Commissioner on September 12. Addressing a press conference in Mumbai, Commissioner Khalid said that the minor victim was traveling via local train from Kalyan Railway Station to Ulhasnagar Railway Station around 9 pm with two of her friends, who are teenagers. The police have registered the case registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
