The Makati City government is set to reroute traffic on Friday for the victory parade honoring Miss World 2013 Megan Young.

The parade will kick off 2 p.m. at the Petron station in Buendia corner Makati Avenue, pass through Ayala Avenue towards EDSA and culminate at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) in Pasay City.

All vehicles headed to the Makati Central Business district from South Superhighway will be re-routed to Buendia, then to Makati Avenue.

The city will also deploy additional traffic enforcers to guide motorists.

A motorcade of 15 horses, vintage cars, motorcycles and a crown-shaped float is set to bring Megan from Makati to the MOA complex for a meet-and-greet with the public.

Megan is set to come home to Manila on Thursday afternoon, as she is scheduled to do the ceremonial toss during the NBA preseason game between the Indiana Pacers and Houston Rockets at the MOA Arena.

Megan is the first Filipina to win the title of Miss World.
