The Malacañang declares work suspension in government and private offices as well as classes in all levels in Metro Manila on April 28 through Memorandum Circular Number 18.
This is to give way for the conduct of the 30th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and related meetings.
On April 27, work suspension has been also declared in government offices for the cities of Manila, Makati and Pasay.
Meanwhile, the government is letting the local government units and employers to decide whether to suspend their work on April 29.
The ASEAN Summit and related meetings will be held from April 24 to 30 in Metro Manila. — UNTV News & Rescue
