Malaysia’s biggest annual book sale is going online for the first time tomorrow.

Better known as the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale, or BBW Book Sale, shoppers all over Malaysia can look forward to browsing and buying more than 40,000 titles from the website tomorrow through to Nov. 11, with some even priced below RM5 (US$1.20).

The annual book sale began in 2009 and is known to draw thousands of shoppers to Kuala Lumpur, where it had been held at places like The Mines exhibition halls in Seri Kembangan. This is the first time the event is going virtual due to the pandemic. Kuala Lumpur is currently under lockdown that is expected to expire Nov. 9.

“The safety of our shoppers and staff is our main priority,” founder Jacqueline Ng told Coconuts today. “With our new e-commerce platform, everyone in Malaysia can buy books at this year’s Big Bad Wolf Book Sale safely, no matter where they are.”

Book lovers can look out for bestseller titles at up to 90% off their usual retail price, including novels, science fiction, romance, literature, graphic novels, business books, self-help, architecture books, cookbooks, and children’s books.
