Malaysia's end-June palm oil inventories edge up 0.8 pct m/m - MPOB

KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 (Reuters) - Malaysia's palm oil

stockpiles at the end of June rose 0.8 percent from the previous

month to 2.19 million tonnes, industry regulator the Malaysian

Palm Oil Board (MPOB) said on Tuesday.

Production in June fell 12.6 percent from May to 1.33

million tonnes, while exports declined 12.6 percent from the

previous month to 1.13 million tonnes, according to the MPOB

data.

A Thomson Reuters survey had forecast palm oil stockpiles to

fall 1.2 percent to 2.15 million tonnes at the end of June.

Production was seen falling 11.1 percent to 1.36 million tonnes,

while exports were also forecast to decline 7.8 percent to 1.19

million tonnes.
