Man arrested in Gujarat for selling sea fans

Vadodara (Gujarat), Aug 29 (ANI): A man was arrested in Gujarat for selling sea fans. The Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) and the Vadodara Forest Department together conducted the raid the place and caught a group of "Coral Stone Sea Fan". The Wildlife Crime Control Bureau had received such information that a trader was selling Sea Fan at his own shop in Vadodara. During the raids, the officials arrested one man. Nidhi Dave, Range Forest Officer (RFO) said, "Sea fans are sold as good luck charms, which are illegal under wildlife protection act". Sea fans are critical part of coral reef system.
